"..and then we'll snuggle!"

I had a very interesting conversation with some friends last night. Somehow we got on the topic of cuddling, kissing, holding hands and how we would rate them from friendly fun to serious relationship. Now, I wish I could explain this whole conversation in great detail because it was hilarious. But alas, I cannot. I don't have that good of a memory and this post would be waaay too long. So you'll just get my brief views about it. But let's just say it's crazy how different people see things. And then it makes sense why dating can be way complicated. One person might be thinking oh this is fun, we're just friends cuddling and holding hands while the other is thinking oh my goodness, we must be dating now because we're holding hands!
Can you guess which person I normally am in that situation?

I am a big hand holder. I love holding hands. And I cannot just hold hands with any random guy. If I do, I feel way uncomfortable and may start to freak out. It's such a big thing for me that hands are one thing I look at on a guy. Call me weird, but it's true. I've run into some guys that have longer skinnier fingers (or in other words more girly) than mine. That is not ok. There are also those with super rough dry cracked hands. I mean really- there is such a thing called lotion!!
My thoughts on kissing.. hmm where to start. Let's just say I am the most awkward person when it comes to kissing. I avoid a first kiss like it's the plague. Even if I like the guy, I'll avoid it because I find the situation sooo awkward. I won't look him in the eye. I will talk so fast and about the most random things just to avoid that silent staring into each others' eyes when you know it's going to come moment. I mean, you'd think I'd realize that I just end up making the situation all the more awkward.. But no. I still freak out.
Cuddling is the one thing I don't find that big of a deal. I like cuddling. And I don't freak out about it. I think friends can cuddle without it meaning anything. Although, we did determine that there are various degrees of cuddling. So there is still some debate about it being serious. Which again just comes down to everything being complicated because everyone has different views of where to draw the line from being friendly to serious.
So frustrating..

We also talked about what we look for in the opposite sex and what things turn us on or off. So here are some physical features that I look for on a guy:

* Hair.
I am not a fan of hairy men. If I can see bushes of hair poking out of a guys shirt- whether it be chest, back, armpits- that is just gross. If it looks like a guy is wearing a shirt when no shirt is actually on- eww. I am sorry for those to be cursed with such an unfortunate thing.
Facial hair- I'm normally not a fan, but some guys can really pull it off. The scruff look at least. But it's just easier to say no facial hair.
Head hair- I prefer it short. Shags can be attractive, but I like the short spiky look better. I also am a bigger fan of darker colored hair.

* Smile.
Straight teeth please :)

* Eyes.
Not really a big thing I look for but I do love bright blue eyes.

* Height
A guy has to be taller than me. Which isn't too hard seeing as how short I am. But a guy can't be too tall either. I don't like feeling like a child next to him.

And obviously hands too. But I already explained that earlier.

Blame it on the rain

I've been in a weird mood lately. I've been perfectly content staying at home watching movies by myself. I've made plans and then completely forgotten about them. I can't keep track of what day it is. It's like I'm a mess. But yet I don't really care. I'm happy. Although I could use some sunshine right about now. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the rain. But it needs to stop. It's cold and I want warmth! It's summer for goodness sake! And it's just been the sissy sprinkling rain. Like really, if you're going to rain, pour! Bring on the thunder and lightning! :) haha

So besides my weird mood, summer has still been great! I just love being home. I love being able to see my family any time I want. Which brings up something else to add with my weird mood.. Every time I hold my new niece, I get really baby hungry. She is just so precious. I can't wait for the day when I get to hold my own child for the first time. I mean, if I can get emotional holding a niece, I'm going to be a wreck when it's my own baby I'm holding, but it's going to be the happiest moment of my life!
And yes- I do know marriage comes first..

But anyways.. it's also been great to be back home with my friends. I'm pretty lucky to have some great friends in my life. I've already had some fun summer night activities what with cup o sno visits, getting $10 free at Applebees, midnight movies, dodgeball games, and hot tub chats. It's been great. I can't wait to see what else is in store this summer!

Miss me?

Well, anyone ready for an update of my life? I know you few people who actually read my blog have been dying to know.. ha

Mmk, I don't even know where to begin. It really has been a long time since I've just talked about what I've been up to. And I feel like a lot has happened. So this post might be a little random..

I finally made some new friends. About two weeks ago. Perfect timing I know. But the funniest part about these friends is that they are from Roosevelt. And that's funny because I've realized that most friends I've made (or boys I've had little crushes on) have been from Roosevelt or Vernal. I don't get it. Apparently there is just something about those smaller town boys..
So I did have a little crush on one of these new friends of mine. And it possibly could've gone somewhere except that 1. he is more shy and awkward than I am (shocker right? I didn't think it was possible) and 2. it's summer and we are both home.. But it was fun hanging out with him for those last two weeks. We did go out on one date and I shot my first rifle! It was pretty exciting. Although I am horrible. But I blame it on the weather cause it was freezing. I only had a light jacket so I was shivering the whole time.

My last weekend in Logan was fun. I went to the Sean Kingston concert and dance party and had a lot of fun. Even though it was cold and started snowing a bit. It was just fun to forget about finals for a while and have a good time dancing. Then Saturday I spent most of the day studying but then took a break to go play cards and watch movies with some friends. It was a good last weekend.

So school is over. Obviously. Finals went well. They could've gone better but I was pleased with them. I'm just glad they are over. And I'm sooo glad to be home for the summer. I love being home. I know most people hate moving back home after being away for college, but I love it. I just love being closer to my family. Which most of you know already. BUT even though I was stoked to move home, I did have a harder time leaving Logan yesterday. I hate goodbyes- another thing most of you should know by now- and even though I'll see my cousins again, it was hard to leave knowing I won't be living with them ever again. For two years their home has been my home. I loved living with them. I'm going to miss it next year.

Well, today was my first day of summer and it was wonderful. I spent the morning being lazy watching some of my tv shows. Then my sister-in-law came to get her hair done so I played with my nieces and nephew. We went outside and jumped on the tramp and had such a fun time. I love those kids. Seriously, can't get enough of them. And I loved being outside and having it be warm! After they left, I got to go and watch my little sister play softball. She's on the high school team and it was the first game I got to see. Then I just spent the rest of the night hanging out with my family. It was a great way to start off my summer.
